Staff in Henn na Hotel Tokyo Akasaka
Hello, When I booked this place I was quite unsure due to the whole robot thing, but I was SOO wrong! I stayed in two different hotels while in tokyo and I liked this one so much I canceled days on the other one to return here. While I was staying we suffered from an earthquake and the staff was so calm and attentive to us! The beds are comfortable and clean. The rooms are samall but you will see that all over japan so it was not a bother to us. Location wise is really convinient, its near Ginza and Akihabara, its near two stations and you can get pretty much everywhere through the ginza line or the asakuza line, which both are just a block away. At the last day of our stay here we discovered that just a block away was a buzzing bar and restaurant area! We wish we knew haha! I really recommend this place I would certainly come back whenever I am in Tokyo.

Ana

The rooms are quite small for two of us we had a triple room which was just about adequate with two large cases. There were 3 beds one was a bed settee which we turned back into a settee to gain more floor space there was a lot of wrappers and dust under there and things people had lost during there stay and clearly shows although they hoover every day they hoover around things, that was my only moan other than that the staff were friendly and helpful, it's very close to train stations and loads of eating places and shops too, the robots are friendly too!!

I hadn't been to Akasaka before, so I didn't know how the area around rhe Hotel would be before booking. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many restaurants and pubs close by. The streets were also very clean, and less crowded than more popular places in Tokyo. The hotel itself was great. The staff was helpful and friendly. All necessary facilities easily accessible. The room was big enough for me as a solo traveler. Also easy access to multiple stations, so getting around was convenient.

Sandra

great size room with LG styler and large tv. couldn't get chrome cast to work but that is not unusual- robots were lame as expected - hoping for a dinosaur. human intervention required but all part of the fun. good position between metro stations. not too much hassle to get back to central or airport- one change of train. Lockers and luggage storage reasonable at 100 and 200 yen respectively considered reasonable. we booked 2 rooms and arrived early, and charged only 200 for our 4 bags.

Lynda

The location in Akasaka is very convenient to explore also other areas in Tokyo. Although the Check-in and Check-out is supposed to be managed by the robots if you have any further questions or difficulties you can still contact the staff and ask them for their help. They were also very friendly and let us leave our bags with them (for free) as we checked-out early and had some time to spare for our flight. And of course the very good amenities are provided (e.g. sleeping gown).
